In this way, the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon has impregnated the island with #RunAndFeel spirit and an extraordinary atmosphere, and has allowed thousands of runners to live a unique experience running through the most emblematic places and the most important municipalities of Ibiza, discovering its intricacies and beautiful landscapes, and crossing the finish line on the promenade of Santa Eulària des Riu under a magical sunset and by the sea.

The Councillor for Sports, Economy and Finance, Salvador Llosa, was in charge of kicking off the marathon at 3:30 pm in the Port of Ibiza, just a few metres from the Mediterranean Sea and with Dalt Vila as a backdrop. At the start of the 22K, the distance with the highest percentage of registered runners, located in Santa Gertrudis, Miguel Tur, deputy mayor of Santa Eulària des Riu, was in charge of giving the starting signal. And in the 12K, which started at the same time as the intermediate distance, it was Carmen Ferrer, mayoress of Santa Eulària des Riu, who gave the starting signal.

The athletes of the three distances that make up the competition programme of the event (marathon, 22K and 12K) have written their own history in the seventh edition of this great sporting event with nearly 50% female participation and more than 65% of those registered from abroad, being the edition with the highest percentage of foreign runners.

The entire team of Talentum Group, organisers of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon, as well as the authorities who attended on behalf of the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Hall, the Ibiza Town Hall and the Island Council were very satisfied with the great success of this historic edition that brought together running enthusiasts from all over the world, which reaffirms the important role of this event in the positioning of Ibiza as a tourist and sports destination.
