Where and when do I pick up my race bib and runner’s bag?

Both your race bib and runner’s bag will be collected at the Runner’s Fair at the Ibiza Conference Center (Avenida Salvador Camacho, 9-11, 07840 Santa Eulària des Riu) on Friday 31st March from 10am to 8pm non-stop and on Saturday 1st April from 10am to 1.30pm in the case of the Marathon.

 

  • 13:30 h. in the case of the Marathon. From 14:15h there will be a last minute bib drop-off at the Port of Ibiza next to the start.
  • 14:00 h. in the case of the 20K. From 14:45 there will be a last-minute bib drop-off in Santa Gertrudis next to the start.
  • 17:30 h. in the case of the 12K.

What do I need to collect my race bib and runner’s bag?

You will need to know your bib number, which we will send you by e-mail the days before the race, and your ID card.

If you do not receive the e-mail with your bib number, you can check it on the lists at the Runner’s Fair.


Can someone else pick up my bib?

Yes, as long as they have a signed authorisation and a photocopy of their ID and yours.

What does the runner’s bag include?

The runner’s bag includes the JOMA Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon 2023 T-shirt of the distance in which you are going to participate, multiple gifts from the collaborating brands and discounts from brands of interest.

It also includes the sticker that you will have to use and fill in to leave your belongings in the cloakroom.


Can I transfer my number or change my name?

You can make a change of ownership free of charge by emailing info@ibizamarathon.com before 25 March 2023.

Can I change distances?

The organization offers the possibility of making a name change. It can be requested by contacting info@ibizamarathon.com. The new athlete must comply with the provisions of this regulation, the content of which will be accepted when the name change becomes effective.

The cost for the change of bib number name is €10 for management fees.

As of February 28, there will be no changes of bib number name.


Can I be accompanied on a bike along the course?

No. It is forbidden to follow participants on motorbikes or bicycles, and the Local Police are expressly ordered to remove from the circuit any person who fails to comply with this rule, in order to avoid any accident to the runners themselves, the public or members of the organization.

How can I find out my bib number?

Your bib number will be sent to your e-mail address the days before the race. After that day, you can check your bib number on our website (https://ibizamarathon.com/inscripcion) by clicking on the ‘download receipt’ button for each distance.

In addition, at the Runner’s Fair you will find lists, sorted by surname, with your bib number.


Does the registration include a race T-shirt?

Yes, in the runner’s bag, which you will have to pick up at the Runner’s Fair, you will find the JOMA T-shirt of the technical brand for the distance in which you are going to participate.

Is there a finisher’s medal?

Yes, all finishers will receive their medal at the start of the post race.

Can the medal be engraved?

Yes, the service can be purchased at a price of 5€ at the time of registration. You can also request the medal engraving service at the Runner’s Fair and at the post race for a price of 10€.

Are there pacers?

PROVISIONAL INFORMATION

Yes. In the Marathon there will be pacers to mark the times of: 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:30 and 5:00. In 22K there will be pacers to mark the times of: 1:40h, SUB 2h and 2:15.


Is there a cloakroom service?

Yes, the organizers will have a cloakroom service at the start of the marathon distance (Port of Ibiza) and the 20K (Santa Gertrudis). Everyone will be able to collect their belongings in the post-finish area.

Are there bus services?

Yes, there is a bus service between these points:

  • Feria del Corredor and Port of Ibiza.
  • Corridor Fair and Santa Gertrudis.
  • Port of Ibiza and Santa Gertrudis.
  • Santa Gertrudis and Santa Eulària del Riu.
  • Santa Eulària del Riu and Port of Ibiza.

The timetables will be communicated by e-mail and on the website sufficiently in advance.


Where is the start located?

The start of the marathon will be in the Port of Ibiza.

The start of the 22K distance will be in Santa Gertrudis.

The 12K start is located at the Santa Eulària des Riu promenade.


Are there starting boxes?

Yes, there will be start boxes for each distance. In order to access these boxes it is necessary to inform the organization at the time of registration.

The exact information of each starting box will be communicated by e-mail and on the website sufficiently in advance.


How do I know which is my starting box?

On your race bib you will have a color indicating the start box.

Will there be waves or start times?

Yes, it will be communicated by e-mail and on the website well in advance.

Which streets will be closed?

On our website there is a section called “Citizen Info” where all the street closures are indicated.

Is there a time limit to complete the race?

Yes, there is:

  • Maximum time limit of 5:30 hours to complete the marathon distance in individual mode.
  • Maximum time of 3:00 hours to complete the 22K distance.
  • Maximum time limit of 2 hours to complete the 12K distance.

Are there intermediate cut-off points?

The organisation, together with the FAIB judges, will establish a series of cut-off points at certain times:

  • KM 20: 6.30PM
  • KM 27: 7:30PM
  • KM 30: 8:00PM
  • KM 35: 8:45PM.

How many refreshment posts are there along the route?

PROVISIONAL INFORMATION

There are aid stations in maratón every 5 km with an extra refreshment points on the last kilometers.

At 22K, aid stations will be at KM: 5, 10, 14, 17, 20. At 12K: at KM. 4, 7 and 10. In addition, there will be a large post-finish refreshment station and an exclusive refreshment station for individual marathon participants.


Are there solid supplies in the race?

Yes, detailed information will be communicated well in advance.

Can I enter the finish line with children or an accompanying person?

No. Due to the narrowness of the finish line and the volume of participants, it is not allowed to cross the finish line accompanied to ensure safety and the best conditions for all runners.

Is there a post-finish refreshment point?

Yes, you will find a refreshment point after crossing the finish line with a wide range of liquids and solids.

Are there prizes for categories?

No, there are classifications by category, but no prizes.
