The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon, which will take place next Saturday April 1, will become one of the events on the national calendar with the largest following through social networks, largely due to the relevant profiles of those who will participate in the insular event.

Elite athletes, international references and content creators around the world of running will become the protagonists of the event, while allowing people from all over the world not only to strictly follow the competition, but also to observe the passage through the different natural landscapes that will encompass its three distances: marathon, 22K and 12K.

One of the main protagonists will be Álex Roca (@alexroca91), who has just become in Barcelona the first person with a 76% physical disability to complete a marathon. Alongside him will be names such as Sergio Turull (@pitufollow), Elisa Melilli (@the_lucky_woman_) and Paula and Patricia, founders of Juntas Es Mejor (@juntasesmejor), with more than 100,000 followers.

All of them will be joined by international representatives, with the already confirmed presence of the british Augusté Augustinaité (@seen_running) and the Italians Cosimo Bertotto (@cosimo_run) and Massimiliano Milani “Massi” (@mam265).

High level sporting profiles such as Dani Mateo will complete the monitoring. The soria-born runner, an olympian in Tokyo 2020, heads a list of male and female runners with a combined total of more than 1.5 million running fans.
