Last 300 bib numbers to fill the quota for the 22K! This has been announced by the organisers of the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon, after the great reception by runners of the intermediate distance.

The race, which joined the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon last year as the third option (along with the marathon and the 12K), will be held in the afternoon. It will start in the pretty town of Santa Gertrudis and, after running through beautiful natural landscapes in the island’s interior, it will finish at sunset on the Santa Eulària del Riu seafront promenade.

Olympic athlete Dani Mateo, who won in 2022 in 1 hour 11 minutes, will once again be on the starting line with a clear objective: “To win again and try to set a time that will be difficult to beat in the future”. The runner from Soria has no doubts when he says that the 22K “is a gift” and he does it thinking about a course that has captivated him from the beginning to the end. “There are some undulations at the beginning, but, in general, the first 10 kilometres are downhill and allow you to discover the nature of the interior of the island. In the second part, when we reach Santa Eulària, it’s flat, with spectacular scenery”.

Alongside him, athletes from all over the world will be the protagonists of a sporting event that already has over 50% international participation.

3 distances, 1 finish line
The 6th Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon will be held on the 1st of April. A race in distances (marathon, 22K, 12K) which, year after year, becomes the perfect date for the start of the season for runners from all over the world. Athletes ready to discover the #RunAndFeel spirit in a weekend that allows them to enjoy the gastronomic, scenic and leisure richness of the magical island.

The current price range will be valid until February.
